Riding in shuttle golfcart after work with co-worker [REDACTED] at MHHS Sugar Land from [REDACTED] to employee parking area when our driver turned corner and drove shuttle golfcart in small space between an oncoming FedEx truck and the construction area hitting several poles in construction area divider. This occurred in the parking lot where there is construction underway building the new parking garage. The driver was attempting to squeeze the shuttle golfcart around the construction area and ended up hitting poles causing us to slide bounce and jerk. I had to hold on so I would not fall out of my seat or fall off the shuttle golfcart. I had initial discomfort to my neck and right arm. [REDACTED] I began to have pain to my right shoulder and back also. I notified my manager [REDACTED].
