I was trying to assist [REDACTED] from a sitting position to a standing position. [REDACTED] was trying to lift to a standing position to use his walker to go to the bathroom. [REDACTED] is obese refused to use a urinal or a bedside commode or lay in the bed and so was sitting on a low recliner. In an attempt to assist pt with my preceptor (and it occurred several times during the night) I started feeling low back pain in the lumbar area.
