Employee was working at the punch out station

On [REDACTED] an employee from the Finish Department was asked to assist the Foundry Department at the punch-out station. Around [REDACTED] while working at the punch-out station hot sand from one of the castings fell into his shoe causing a minor burn rash. The employee immediately notified his supervisor and received first aid treatment. Although medical attention was offered the employee declined stating he was fine. He was wearing safety shoes at the time.
