Before the incident

Employee was assisting patient with pivot transfers. Patient was able to do the pivot transfer by themselves. However after transferring to the bed and sitting down patient lost their balance and reached out and grabbed employee for support pulling down on (R) wrist and arm. Employee went to urgent care due to pain and swelling and was put in a sling with scheduled follow up and xrays after the weekend.
