What happened
The patient was having an episode and was struggling to head back into her room. The patient was trying to leave the hospital. She bolted towards the exit and had been trying to leave through the double doors. I stood in front of the double doors to have the patient understand that the doors were off limits. She was at a distance but as more nurses came and felt an arm on her back the patient charged at me. I was still in front of the double doors when the patient pushed me through the doors. The melt bar hit me smack in the middle and the right side of my neck hit the doors on the side. The patient later calmed down and headed back to the room.
