What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] doing parcel post wagon [REDACTED] notified me A Supervisor had gotten into a verbal and physical altercation with a civilian in the street while doing his parcel post delivery in [REDACTED] area [REDACTED]. He tried to diffuse the situation and walk away but the African American male that was riding a scooter was being aggressive and placed his scooter in the back of the Carriers truck to prevent him from getting in. As the Carrier backed away from the individual the individual proceeds to square off with him and assaulted the Carrier. Police and ambulance were called. The Carrier has minor pain to his rib area and wrist. The Carrier did not go to the hospital on the scene after being checked by EMT. Police report was made and the assailant was arrested
