Employee was delivering mail on the route.

[REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] RCA with a enter on duty date of [REDACTED] was involved in a non preventable accident. A 18 wheeler slammed into the rear of the black car below and continued about 30 feet right behind the 18 wheeler was the RCA which veered to miss the accident and hit the rear of the black car which deployed the airbags in the postal vehicle. The RCA asked to be brought to the hospital by ambulance due to her chest was hurting the paramedics stated probably from the air bag deployment no serious injuries were reported. The RCA had delivered all mail management went to the accident scene and picked up keys scanner etc. USPS vehicle has been towed to [REDACTED] post office parking lot and is being determined to send to [REDACTED] for complete inspection.
