What happened
On [REDACTED] I felt a sharp pain in my left shoulder. For the next [REDACTED] I took ibuprofen and did some stretches to ease the pain. My job consists of a repetitive motion of heavy lifting and sometimes team lift packages which I solely do by myself. I have to lift the packages off the floor and into my LLV. I lift them out of my LLV and carry them to my customer 's house. During this time of the year mail and package volume significantly increases. I was working at least 11 hours a day and close to 70 hours a week. So I am lifting and carrying a lot of packages. Due to the long hours and days I worked there was not much resting I could do for my shoulder. On [REDACTED] the pain was so bad I could not perform the duties of my job at my highest potential and decided it was time to go to the doctor. I did not want to damage my shoulder any further to the point where I could not do my job. I had this job for almost 13 years and have never had an injury like this. Since it was the holi
