The employee was using low pressure air to clean an area of dust debris.

On [REDACTED] The employee was performing routine cleaning task with compressed air on Wrap 2 in the pipe plant around [REDACTED]. As he was blowing down the machine in preparation for his shift he something got in his right eye. He was wearing safety rated glasses with added side shields at the time. He attempted to rinse his eyes on his own and then reported the incident to his shift supervisor. The Occupational nurse on site examined him and determined he needed off-site care. He was diagnosed with abrasions treated with Rx eye drops and written on one scheduled work day.
