What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] a blowmold operator was responding to a jam at the [REDACTED] preform hopper. The hopper had been overfilled causing the jam. Using their hand the operator reached into the moving elevator to clear the jammed up preforms. The operator’s wrist was pushed against the metal frame of the elevator opening causing a laceration to the right wrist. The operator was transported to the nearest clinic where they received stitches.
