What happened
I moved a pt from an ED cot to the CT table alone. We were short staffed in the ED and incredibly busy. The CT tech was on light duty and couldn?t help me. I felt a twinge in my left shoulder after moving the patient but continued on with my shift. I also helped put a pt in restraints [REDACTED] as well as assisting people to get out of bed. I finished my shift and went to bed. I woke up about [REDACTED] with horrible pain in my left shoulder. I could barely move. I took [REDACTED] and went back to bed until my son came home from school. At about [REDACTED] I got up again and the pain was still severe. I went to urgent care and was given a sling and told to get a MRI and see orthopedics
