Before the incident

The IT team member was responding to an issue with the offload computer not working and not letting production scan finished goods and print shipping labels.

What happened

Team member description: The computer at the offload station was not working and I had to enter the work cell to connect the keyboard to the computer. While I was working I heard the turntable moving and felt pressure on my foot and could not move it. Another team member pressed the e-stop button and engaged the release switch on the motor to the turntable and pushed the turntable off my foot. Manager Description: IT Team Member was replacing a PVA Screen and Computer within the caged area of the Front Corner line that contains the rotary offload table. Team Member at offload actuated the rotary table to offload an assembly and the IT Team Member became pinched between the rotary table and the rail. The offload Team Member immediately broke the light curtain in his station to stop the table and the e-stops were engaged. The Team Leader backed up the rotary table to free the IT Team Member. EMTs were immediately called and the IT Team Member was taken to the hospital.
