Before the incident
The employee reached into a flour hopper to unclog it and reached in too high catching his left middle finger
What happened
The employee began to strike the hopper to try and free up the flour; this did not work so the employee began pushing up into the flour sock attached to the hopper to see if that would loosen the flour. He pushed the sock up into the impeller which grabbed the sock and pulled his hand into the impeller which struck his left middle finger. (The impeller was not visible due to the sock)
