pt self extubated
What happened
no sharps were involved. Pt self extubated and I went in to help when I heard mom calling out for help. when I went into the room the pt had tube out of mouth and was gaging I grabbed his OG to help pt stop gagging and in the prosses of removal the OG flung gastric content on my face. I called my manger and called the OUch line who told me to go to ER
