Before the incident
Trying to de-escalate patient and trying to get the razor out of her hand
What happened
Patient had a razor blade in their hand. When I was attempting to get the razor blade out of their hand the razor nicked-scratched my right hand middle finger but no blood was drawn. Right before this the patient used the razor to cut themself and had blood on the blade and all over their arms and hands. After the blade was retrieved I washed my hands thoroughly. I then let my supervisor know of the incident called the ouch line
