Employee stated that someone dropped one of the plastic lids on the ground. I turned around to move from one side of the room to the other stepped on the lid and it caused me to slide across the floor. I grabbed the sink to prevent myself from falling. I never fell. I did feel my back snap as I was sliding across the room. I continued to work because I didn 't my back to tighten up on me. [REDACTED] my back started to have a shooting pain that traveled around my back. I told my manager when it happened but told her that I didn 't feel like I needed to fill a report out at the time. I went home last night and the pain just continued and got worse. I woke up [REDACTED] and it was okay. I got to work and it started to hurt again when I started my work.
