What happened
EE alleges [REDACTED] EE was changing a grinding wheel and EE 's weight on it and it started spinning and the tool that was on there hit the EE 's left thumb causing pain and swelling and numbness. EE is applying ice EE reports pain that is limiting. EE reports range of motion limitations. While changing the grinding disk on the grinder EE accidentally put his arm on the power button and the tool used to change the disk hit the EE 's left thumb causing contusion. EE notified supervisor and was given first aid treatment. After that the EE was sent to the physcian for further evaluation.
