Employee was changing the blade on the extruder chop saw and he opened the guard and started to remove the screw on the blade when he realized he did not have the cover over the blade. He started to reach for the blade cover and it come down on his left hand causing a laceration. Employee was not wearing his cut resistant gloves. Employee sought medical attention and received 4 stitches.
