Before the incident
Putting used instruments in a basin that was sitting on top of my instrument pan.
What happened
I went to put the used instruments in my basin which was sitting in my instrument pan to prevent used touching clean instruments and my needle box was sitting below the instrument pan. In the needle box was a double ended k wire and one end was in the foam and the other was sticking up. So my hand came down and barely poked me. I took the two layers of gloves off and a little blood was seen by me and a nurse.
