Moving a mold with an overhead crane
What happened
EE was using a crane and in the process of setting a recently spun mold in the curing area. As the EE was lowering the mold to the ground he did not see a block chock on the ground and set the mold on the bock chock causing the mold to shift catching the EE 's RT hand Pinky to be smashed between the mold he was lowering and another mold that was already sitting in the curing area. EE was using his hand to guide the mold as he was lowering. After the incident occurred the employee finished unhooking the pole and went to the restroom and saw the damage to his pinky finger and went to inform his supervisor.
