Administering a Lovenox injection
What happened
After I administered the lovenox injection and pulled the needle out of patients abdomen tissue with my right dominant hand. I attempted to retract the needle with my right hand while moving my right hand with the [REDACTED] injection towards the sharps container which is when I poked my lower left thumb area.
