Speaking with another employee about the location of documents that were needed.
What happened
The employee walked to Metal Building Erectors (MBE) between the Parkline FAB Plant and Structural Assembly Plant to deliver a check. While returning from MBE the employee stopped to talk to a forklift operator on the left side of the equipment. The forklift operator informed the employee that electrical receiver documentation was in the electrical warehouse. The employee wanted to obtain this documentation because it had not been received for the day. The forklift operator had the equipment stopped and placed in park with the forklift forks approximately 10 inches off of the concrete. While the forklift operator was explaining where the documentation was located the standing employee attempted to pass by the front of the forks to obtain the documentation. The employee tripped on the left fork of the forklift and while falling towards the concrete the employee made an effort to brace the fall by stretching the right arm towards the ground.
