Nursing Assistant has been dealing with chronic lower back pain for a few months. Worked a shift on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] where patient load was heavy and had a lot of numbers. Entire day of transferring turning and moving equipment individuals resulted in lower back pain turning into acute during the shift. Nursing Assistant went home iced the area took [REDACTED] and rested for the next shift the following day. Nursing Assistant came to work on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] and shift work resulted in the pain being unbearable at the end of the day that had to call out of work for the next shift 30 mins after leaving. Acute pain is now resulting in tingling in the lower back all the way to the heel of the left foot. Worked entire shift [REDACTED] [REDACTED] with a back brace and [REDACTED] but experienced pain throughout the shift and tingling throughout the lower back all the way to the left heel. Had to call out [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] as a result from this incident.
