Serving patient lunch

[REDACTED] was delivering lunch to patient carrying the tray on her shoulder (server style). There was a fresh cup of hot water for tea on the patient tray. The tray tipped and spilled the hot water down the left side of [REDACTED] 's neck. This resulted in a partial thickness burn starting approximately 1 below the left ear following the collar and ending at the mid sternal line. Redness and blistering noted to area. [REDACTED] was seen in the UGMC ED immediately following injury.
