CT

[REDACTED] while helping a weak patient stand from the CT exam table I felt a painful pulling sensation in my left groin area. I some mild tenderness in the area all day but nothing too severe. It didn 't seem serious at the time so I continued with my day and completed my shift. [REDACTED] I awoke to sharp left groin pain. In checking the area I noticed a bulge at the site of the pain. It was quite painful on palpation. I tried to work through it today but it is becoming increasingly painful and needs to be evaluated to prevent further injury.
