What happened
Immediately prior to the incident the employee was transferring bars onto the plating racks. Each bar weighs approximately 15 pounds. As the employee was raising the bar up approximately six (6) inches he reported that he felt a pop in the middle of his back (left side). The incident occurred at [REDACTED]. The employee informed his Frontline Leader at [REDACTED]. After a short conversation with the Frontline Leader the employee continued to perform the same activity of transferring bars onto the plating rack. The Frontline Leader did not have the employee complete an Incident report. Nor did the Frontline Leader seek the services of a First Responder. In fact the affected employee worked approximately two (2) hours beyond his scheduled shift time. The incident occurred on the evening of [REDACTED]. The incident was reported to EHS on the afternoon of [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. Exacerbated pre-existing condition
