What happened
[REDACTED] and [REDACTED] was in the process of manually moving a ramp out of the back of a truck [REDACTED] had the back of the ramp while [REDACTED] had the front of the ramp On the front the ramp has a spring tensioned lift assist that was not secured [REDACTED] tried to hold both the lift assist and the ramp at the same time When the ramp was moved off of the truck the spring lift assist activated causing [REDACTED] to lose his grip and the lift assist frame struck [REDACTED] on his lower left leg The impact caused the frame to puncture [REDACTED] leg
