Paper machine maintenance crew were working on moving calendar rolls that are on [REDACTED] that were received from a roll shipment to the basement to transfer them over to the Roll grinding area Maintenance crew removed the ladder that accesses the top of [REDACTED] winder and installed handrails around the hatches to create a safety barrier before pulling hatches so that they could transfer calendar rolls from the operating floor to the basement Maintenance crew then began to move roll to the basement employee was standing by the handrail next to [REDACTED] winder verifying that the roll was clean and the Mechanic operating the crane was lower the roll As the employee was standing there spotting the move the production operator got on the reel crane to transfer a reel to the unwind stand on [REDACTED] and as the crane was traveling South it caught the ladder that was on the ground and continued to shove it South until it pinned the Maintenance Employees right leg against the handrail
