Before the incident
While working on removing threaded rod from a roll skid which was on its side the skid fell over landing on employees knees and left hand Employee in turn rolled left ankle [REDACTED] were building a skid to store and transport paper machine rolls on throughout the mill During the process the skid was stood up on its side One of the threaded rods was damaged and needed to be replaced During the removal of the treaded rod the skid lost balance and fell towards the millwright The skid hit the persons legs and continued to fall until it landed on the persons foot The skid measured 16 x 3 and weighed approximately 600lbs
