Before the incident
EE and teammate were walking on the flat roof on their way to reposition the diverter to another cyclone for a contractor that has been working on a new baler install EE stepped on a patch of dirt gunk causing the employee to slip and fall on the flat roof In attempt to avoid falling he reached for his teammate but was unable to regain his balance causing him to fall forward He tried to use his hands to break the fall but with the full weight of his body moving forward his fingers on his right hand were pushed back with such force it dislocated his middle right finger causing an avulsion across his palm EE rolled over after the incident and noticed his finger dislocation and blood dripping from his palm Teammate called for help immediately
