Employee was placing a piece of drop steel into the drop racks behind bystronics laser.

SFA was attempting to store a shorter piece of drop behind a longer piece of drop. While attempting to lower the drop into the rack the sheet clamp hit the tall drop and let go of the material. SFA was using hand to guide the drop into place and as the drop fell it caused a laceration between the thumb and index finger of the left hand.
