Before the incident
I was on line 4 and the machine has been faulty for weeks. We were told at the start of shift by [PII] the lead to push the line of batteries back if an error occurs and stop and restart the machine. In the process of doing so my pinky finger was caught in between 2 batteries and smashed.

In the process of doing so my pinky finger was caught in between 2 batteries and smashed. Left pinky finger smashed. I ma able to still perform my job activities.
