What happened
Employee was moving pallets and got a wooden splinter stuck EE was working distribution when his glove was pierced by a large splinter. At the time of the incident EE pulled the splinter out and did not report the injury nor did they receive medical care. On [REDACTED] the employee returned to work and told a supervisor about the injury and explained how it was not healing. [REDACTED] EHS Manager was made aware of the injury and took the EE to the clinic where it was determined the injury site was infected. The EE was given a tetanus shot and prescribed antibiotics.
