What happened
The test piece worker was cleaning drawers out of her toolbox. The lower drawers of the toolbox are used to store steel fixturing and tooling for the machine at that station. The worker opened the bottom three drawers and one of the top drawers at one time. The weight of the drawers caused the toolbox to tip forward. The worker pushed against the toolbox trying to catch it. She held the box up for a few seconds until another worker ran over to help. The supervisor and production manager saw the commotion and came to assist. The toolbox was tilted back onto the floor. At that time the worker said one of the drawers bumped her knee but she felt ok. Within 20 to 30 minutes her back began to ache and she notified her supervisor. The EHS Manager took her to see a doctor. She was put on light duty and instructed to heat and ice her back when she could. She is to return for a follow-up in 10 days.
