Before the incident
DA was delivering to [REDACTED] The DA got the packages from the back of the van and exited the side door of the CDV When the DA stepped out with their right leg first their heel hit the blacktop curb and caused their ankle to turn over itself to the right side The DA immediately fell to the ground and became light headed so they got back into the van to lie down The DA grabbed an ice pack from my cooler and applied it to the injured area [REDACTED] DA was removed from route and referred to outside medical per request The DA received a rigid splint provided work restrictions
