on [REDACTED] approximately midway through their shift DA reported injuring their left ankle while performing a delivery As the DA stepped out of the side door of the van placed their weight on the ball of their left foot The DA was trying to avoid partially stepping on the curb The DAs weight shifted causing their ankle to roll and subsequently fell to the ground The DA reported hearing an audible pop when they fell Because this was the DAs first shift delivering on their own they downplayed the severity of their injury report to dispatch and continued to work
