Operator drove [REDACTED] crane [REDACTED] to a job site and positioned it to set outrigger pads and extend outriggers The crane has a storage rack on the rear to transport the outrigger pads Outrigger pads are 4 inch diameter DICAs and weigh 120 pounds The storage rack has a ramp on each side to roll the pads in and out When the crane operator positioned the crane it was on a hill and leaning some to the left side He rolled the first pad down the ramp and the second pad unintentionally rolled from its resting position at the top of the ramp He reacted and the pad slammed his left hand into a CONEX This broke the middle finger of his left hand near the base knuckle Operator was wearing standard issue gloves when this occurred We took him to an Urgent Care They xrayed it and determined that he needed to go the ER for someone to reset it as soon as possible The ER xrayed it reset it and put it in a splint The ER prescribed him medications for the pain He was released from the ER with ins
