Crew members had just finished installing the turning gear and flying tooling uptower when an employee climbed on top of the generator to put a sling back into the crane hook so that it could be flown back out As the employee reached for the hook his foot skipped from the generator causing him to fall to the lower level The employee landed on the turning gear motor with his glute and then fell forward hitting his head on the generator causing a minor abrasion
