Before the incident
Cutting plastic from cut bundle of material on the outfeed table of the parts saw
What happened
TM was unwrapping long part; another TM was positioning same part to cut to size. While part was being slid down to position for cutting TM put their hand in the way to stop the material so they could finish unwrapping. As a result their LEFT pointer finger became caught between the long part and the end guard of the machine. TM sustained a 1 cut on her finger. TM was given first aid and returned to work. No further medical attention was necessary.
