Employee was standing at a table and inspecting parts with his back turned to the forklift activity behind him.

A forklift operating in the area reversed into employee 's work space and struck him. Employee 's left leg became stuck under the forklift. Attempts by first responders to lift the forklift off of his leg initially placed more pressure on his leg. Employee was transported to hospital to undergo surgery.
