Removing pip line [REDACTED] homogenizer - preping equipment for repair

employee attempted to remove a pipe from [REDACTED] for welding and repair. After following all proper Lockout Tagout procedures the employee was using a wrench to loosen the pipe when some remaining residual air pressure released causing hot ketchup to splash onto the one of the employees skin of their face neck wrist and arm and onto the front of the other employees clothing (no skin contact reported).
