What happened
Operator was attempting to manually turn the cap disk in P6 [REDACTED] sorter to clear a jammed cap. . As the EE was applying pressure to turn the cap disk their finger was hanging down into the pocket and was caught between the cap disk and the slide when the jammed cap let loose of the jam. When the doors for the cap sorter are opened the air drops out which allows the slide to drop down. When the slide is in the dropped down position a pinch point is created.
