What happened
The employee cut the [REDACTED] Outer part in the rocker box area on the bandsaw. The section on the part needs a very thin area to be cut referred to as the step of the box. This requires the operator to push the part through the cutting process which is extremely close to the saw blade. The employee was too close and caught his left thumb on the blade as they were pushing the part through the cut.
