Employee was operating a hydraulic press use to kicking spring pitch.

The employee was helping another operator absent on the day of the incident to move the product through the process. The employee was unfamiliar with the spring staging order at the hydraulic presser and trip when he exited the area. When the employee lost his balance and fell he grabbed onto a spring bearing lying on the ground and the sharp edge of the spring bearing cut his right ring finger.
