What happened
[REDACTED] ER patient to Nuclear Medicine on a stretcher. Moved the patient to the imaging table with no issues. When the exam was done and trying to move the patient back with moving help the stretcher mattress was not connected to the table and slid out while moving the patient. To keep the patient from sliding off the bed with the mattress I overreached to catch the patient mattress and back started hurting after this. I continued to work but during the work day the pain got worse.
