What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was performing an electrode change on [REDACTED] in cell 10W012A. While using an adjustable crescent wrench to break free the lower electrode his left hand (thumb and knuckle of the pointer finger) made contact with a stationary part held by the robot ([REDACTED]) positioned above his head. The part had not yet moved into the fixture as the electrode life had expired. Due to limited accessibility the task required upward force. Upon breaking the electrode free the wrench 's momentum caused his hand to swing downward into the stationary component resulting in a laceration to his left hand. [REDACTED] was not wearing gloves at the time as he considered it unnecessary when handling copper electrodes. Following the injury [REDACTED] attempted to reach his supervisor via radio. When he did not receive an immediate response he contacted a union representative. Eventually [REDACTED] reached his supervisor [REDACTED] who asked if he wanted m
