Before the incident
I was helping getting the patient to the OR bed for her Csection I removed the bed to the hallway and scrubbed my hands to put on a sterile gown for the case After the nurse prepped the patient we waited for the three minutes to drape the patient B was scrubbed in and I gave her the sterile drape to put on thepatient When we put the drape on and set I turned to get my mayo stand closer to the operating bed I right foot caught the cautery cord that was connect to the machine and the patient I fell hard on my right knee and came to rest on my right side my shoulders where across the X bar of the soft packaging trash canagainst the wall and my head was surround by the soft packaging not at this time
