Patient is total cares quad 250+ lb man Working with [REDACTED] CNA to clean peri area and change soiled pads While pulling patient towards myself [REDACTED] provided patient care and patient was having BM and being cleaned as I held onto him to maintain a side lying position to allow for thorough peri care Both __R[REDACTED]DACT[REDACTED]D__ and I noted thathe was very heavy and hard to move He was a Max assist And I was holding the bulk of his weight in a side lying position while [REDACTED] was cleaning him After wards a stretched a bit and noted how hard that was and felt a little stiffnessShortly after cleaning patient while charting I was noting pain in the right neck that was radiating to my head and down my mid back as well I notified charge RN N and recommended that patient be 3 person assist min to allow for better safety for staff Grateful that charge was understanding and that an RN wasavailable to take over my patients
