Pt son stepped into hall and asked me to unhook pt IV so she could go to the bathroom Pt reported she could walk fine Walked over to gloves and slipped in a large puddle and fell on my L kneeleg Reached out to grab the bed with my R arm to stop the fall and yanked my R arm that is already hurt from beingattacked by previous pt Pt son stated Oh my God I am so sorry We forgot to say anything We didnt know how to clean it up They were both intoxicated and apologized asking if I was ok I pulled myself up and apologized telling her someone else would come take her to the bathroom I asked if water had beenspilled and pt informed me she was so sorry but already had to urinate once before and urinated on the floor next to the bed There was a large puddle that could not be seen because it was between the bed and the cupboards So not only was I hurting and my arm going numb My scrubs were soaked in urine I dontknow for sure if I have to fill out a different L&I if I am already being seen for my
