Cutting glazing bead
What happened
Was cutting glazing bead on a Straight Cut Saw. The vacuum hose designed to suck up the material shavings became clogged. *Note that the saw blade runs continuously unless the saw is shut off. Employee reached behind the saw guard to manually clear the vacuum obstruction. Hand made contact with the exposed portion of the running saw blade cutting through his glove then lacerating his right ring finger. The severity of the laceration required a visit to the Emergency Room where he was given stitches.
